NUMBER 8 TURQUOISE

The turquoise from the Number 8 mine is considered some of the finest ever found and is highly valued by collectors because once the stockpile is depleted, it will never be available again. 

The Number 8 turquoise mine in Eureka County, Nevada closed in 1976. The turquoise from the mine can range in color from very light blue to very dark blue, with some green tints, and has a golden brown to black matrix.
